Autumn sunlight falls across a deep front lawn and a brick home with steep gables, pale stone entry trim and red maple foliage.

The Saturdays When Both Westbury Stages Have a Show

How many Saturdays between now and Christmas have a show at both of Westbury's stages? Going by the two venues' current calendars, the answer is five. On October 17, October 24, November 14, November 28 and December 5, Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair on Brush Hollow Road and The Space at Westbury on Post Avenue both have shows the same evening.

The overlap shows how the two rooms divide the week. On Wednesdays and Thursdays the round stage on Brush Hollow is the only one of the two with anything listed. The Space books almost all of its fall shows on Saturdays. When you plan a night out in Westbury this season, it helps to know which kind of night you're booking.

The round stage keeps the weeknights

Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair went back to its original name in March 2024. Newsday reported that the change followed the Flagstar Bank and New York Community Bank rebrand, and that Live Nation owns and operates the theater. The building had cycled through North Fork Theatre, Capital One Bank Theatre and NYCB Theatre since 2005. It started in 1956 as a summer tent with "The King and I," and the permanent domed building with the slowly rotating stage went up in 1966.

The venue's current schedule includes several midweek dates The Space doesn't match:

  • Wednesday, Oct. 14: An Evening With Lucinda Williams and Her Band
  • Thursday, Oct. 15: The Fab Four
  • Thursday, Oct. 22: Anthony Hamilton
  • Thursday, Oct. 29: Justin Moore
  • Thursday, Nov. 19: Three Dog Night
  • Thursday, Dec. 3: Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson: Search For Life in the Universe
  • Wednesday, Dec. 16: A Motown Christmas

Fridays and Sundays at Flagstar fill most of the rest. Scotty McCreery plays Friday, Oct. 16, and The Price Is Right Live stage show comes Sunday, Oct. 25. Friday, Nov. 13, brings Chicago, and Friday, Nov. 20, is An Evening with Rachel Maddow, presented by Theodore's Books. The Flagstar calendar covers every night of the week. The Space's covers mostly one.

Where the two calendars meet

The Space at Westbury's upcoming concerts page lists almost all of its fall shows on Saturday nights, mostly tribute acts. Line it up against Flagstar's Saturdays and five dates match.

Saturday Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair The Space at Westbury
Oct. 17 Brian Kilmeade Uniting the States Tour Streetfighter, Peter Baron's Peter Frampton tribute, doors 6:30, show 7:30
Oct. 24 The Michael Jackson HIStory Show 2026 Return to Paradise & Gold Dust Woman, doors 7, show 8
Nov. 14 Air Supply: A Matter of Time Tour SASY, doors 8, show 9
Nov. 28 Piano Men: Yellow Brick Joel feat. David Clark & Jeff Scott Wonderous Stories' Concert for Bangladesh revisited, doors 7, show 8
Dec. 5 Engelbert Humperdinck RAEL, music of Genesis and Peter Gabriel, doors 7, show 8

The tribute format runs through both rooms that week. On Saturday, Nov. 28, a Billy Joel and Elton John piano show plays the round stage while the Concert for Bangladesh is restaged downtown. On Oct. 24, a Michael Jackson production at Flagstar shares the night with a Fleetwood Mac and Eagles double bill at The Space. The bigger room also books legacy headliners those weekends, including Air Supply on Nov. 14 and Engelbert Humperdinck on Dec. 5. The downtown room stays with tribute acts and a 7 or 8 p.m. curtain.

The Space also has Saturdays to itself, Halloween and Nov. 21 among them. On Nov. 21 it hosts a Foreign Journey and Never Say Goodbye tribute double bill, doors 7, show 8, and Flagstar's schedule skips from Nov. 20 to Nov. 28.

Halloween weekend shows the split in miniature

Justin Moore plays Flagstar on Thursday, Oct. 29, and the round stage hosts the Disco Halloween Spook-tacular 2026 on Friday, Oct. 30. On Halloween itself, the Saturday, The Space has HALF STEP, playing the music of the Grateful Dead, with doors at 7 and the show at 8.

The Space also lists a Candlelight concert on Friday, Oct. 30, described as a Beatles program, but the listing has no event title or times and the ticket link goes to a general Fever page. Until those details are filled in, the Grateful Dead show is the confirmed downtown option that weekend.

December belongs to Brush Hollow Road

The Space's posted fall calendar ends with RAEL on Dec. 5. After that, the Flagstar schedule is the only one of the two with shows listed, and three of its December bills are sold as holiday shows:

  1. Friday, Dec. 11: Wolf Holiday Howl 2026 With Chris Janson
  2. Wednesday, Dec. 16: A Motown Christmas
  3. Saturday, Dec. 19: An Olde English Christmas With Herman's Hermits Starring Peter Noone

Two non-holiday bills fill the gaps between them. Aries Spears plays Friday, Dec. 4, and Dru Hill & Ginuwine play Saturday, Dec. 12. The venue's listings confirm these as 2026 bookings. They don't say whether any of the holiday shows are yearly traditions.

The Village of Westbury's own holiday calendar isn't set yet. Last year's Village Holiday Tree Lighting was Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, at 3 p.m. As of today, the village calendar shows no 2026 tree lighting or Post Avenue holiday event through Dec. 21.

How a shared Saturday works on the ground

On the five shared Saturdays, the two venues run two different parking setups. At Flagstar, on-site parking comes with the ticket. Premier parking and valet are available for a fee at most events, and if the lot fills, attendants send cars to a satellite lot on Brush Hollow Road. Inside there are seven bars, plus concessions that include popcorn, pretzels, chicken fingers, fries and nachos. Lounge 960 is the VIP room. It usually opens two hours before a show, and on a show-by-show basis it opens to all guests afterward for tea, coffee or a snack until it reaches capacity. For parking refunds or upgrades, the box office is at 516.247.5200.

For The Space, at 250 Post Avenue, Ticketmaster's venue page says parking is free throughout the Village of Westbury and that outside food and drink, including alcohol, can't be brought in. A Flagstar ticket covers the car, and food and drinks are sold inside. At The Space, parking is free, and anything you eat or drink comes before or after the show. On Oct. 17, Nov. 14 and Dec. 5, both options are on the calendar the same evening.

Both venues update their listings regularly, so check the official schedule pages before buying tickets for any of these dates.
